Christienne Cuevas
Christienne Cuevas is a visual artist and educator based in Toronto.
She has undergraduate degrees in Nursing, Psychology & Professional Writing, and Education. Her formal art education began at the Academy of Realist Art in Toronto and her strongest artistic influences are Diego Velasquez and Joaquin Sorolla. In 2017, she received the Kingston Prize for Canadian Portraiture. She currently teaches drawing and painting at the Central Technical School in Toronto. Her works are held in private collections in the US, Canada and Europe.
