The beauty of nature, of life, fascinates me – the colours, the lights, the shadows – I always want to paint the beauty that I see. I use different painting mediums – either oil, acrylic or pastel – all depends on my mood and the subject. Painting outdoors, where I paint a la prima, excites me – hence my affinity with the landscape. Nature, buildings, structures, and people feature largely in many of my artworks. The past few years, I’ve also been indulging in portrait painting, and am loving it. I want to share my love of life and the world we live in, in my art. My goal is to reflect such love and beauty in my paintings for the future generations.
